About Vaddrick Q. Parker
Vaddrick, an entrepreneur in his own right and a published author, has an array of experience counseling entrepreneurs, closely held businesses, public companies and healthcare professionals. His expertise extends to matters including entity formation, corporate governance, financing, corporate contracts, intellectual property issues (trademarks, copyrights & licensing matters), shareholder rights and responsibilities, healthcare fraud and abuse, self-referrals, HIPAA compliance, physician recruitment and medical staff privileges. Vaddrick focuses his practice in the areas of business transactions, corporate law and healthcare regulation and compliance.

Experience
Vaddrick was born in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. He has been engaged in the private practice of law since 2004, and previously served as in-house counsel for a large publicly traded corporation. He began his career in the United States Air Force where he served on active duty at Bolling Air Force Base, 11th Command Wing, located in Washington, DC. While in Washington, Vaddrick headed an entire dental radiology lab and often assisted in complex oral surgery procedures. Vaddrick also served in the Air Force Reserves and was stationed at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, 916th Air Refueling wing – 916th Aerospace Medicine Squadron, located in Goldsboro, NC. His meritorious service earned him an Air Force Achievement Medal and Commendation Award and after six years of service, he was honorably discharged from the Air Force.

Education
Vaddrick received his B.S. Degree in 2001 from East Carolina University and his J.D. Degree, cum laude, in 2004 from the North Carolina Central University School of Law. During law school he was a staff member of the North Carolina Central Law Journal.

Personal
Vaddrick is married to Tara T. Moore-Parker and has a son, Braylon. He was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in 2004. He is a member of Victorious Praise Fellowship, in Durham, North Carolina and enjoys spending time with his family and friends, cooking, learning and especially exploring and engaging in new entrepreneurial ventures.
